SMART is the AFG broker’s competitive edge, and it is also where most offshore providers default to a single lender confirmation bias. We treat SMART research as a structured discipline, not a freeform browse:
AFG Suite360 is the most operationally distinctive aggregator platform in Australia, with five integrated apps spanning CRM, research, analytics, training, and support. The risk for an AFG broker engaging an offshore provider is that the provider learns BrokerEngine Plus on the job and ignores SMART, Analytics, Learn, and Help entirely. We treat all five as one operating system.
Four reasons we are different
We operate inside AFG Suite360 on day one, with no learning curve on the broker’s files. No bridging tools, no shadow spreadsheets, no parallel trackers.
Our delivery is governed by two written documents per aggregator: the AFG Loan Processing Framework and the AFG Suite360 Operating Procedures. Both available to the broker.
We publish a monthly performance scorecard built around the metrics that matter inside AFG Suite360, not generic offshore KPIs that miss what the platform is actually optimising for.
Maker, Checker, Approver applied as discipline. Two independent sets of eyes before lodgement, with the senior reviewer focused on judgment heavy items: servicing accuracy, BID coherence, lender policy alignment.
All five. BrokerEngine Plus is the operating home, but SMART runs the product research, Analytics drives our peer benchmarking, Learn keeps our team CPD current and lender accredited, and Help is our channel for technical and lender queries.
We run a minimum of three lender scenarios on every deal, with filters set to the client’s captured preferences, not processor defaults. The SMART output is captured back into the deal record so the broker and the audit reviewer see the same comparison.
Yes. We draft and refine the BID Statement inside BrokerEngine Plus, embedding the lender rationale and exit strategy. The broker reviews and issues. The signed document is permanently attached to the deal in the Compliance Pack folder.
Commercial files run through the same Suite360 architecture but with supplementary discipline: cash flow forecasts, debt service coverage analysis, trust and entity structure handling, security release schedules. The commercial supplementary section is treated as a first class part of the file, not an afterthought.
Two weeks. Week one is configuration: pipeline stages, lender accreditations, SMART filter defaults, Daily Pipeline Update format. Week two is shadow processing on a single file, then live processing.
Yes. Every AFG broker we work with receives a monthly performance scorecard covering Suite360 KPIs (Stage Discipline, SMART Scenario Coverage, ApplyOnline Four Green Tick Rate, Learn CPD Currency, and more) alongside the AFG Framework headline KPIs.
Yes. Lender accreditation is tracked through the Learn module and refreshed on AFG’s schedule. Where a lender is repeatedly surfaced in SMART but the broker is not accredited, we initiate the accreditation pathway through Learn.
